Cruxy shortlisted for two Private Equity Wire® US Awards 2026: Advisory Firm of the Year (Overall) & Value Creation Consulting Firm of the Year
Rezul News/10744868
Recognises the product + pricing specialist's market-making impact across US private markets
WESTMINSTER, U.K. - Rezul --
London, September 7th 2026: Cruxy, the B2B tech (SaaS) product + pricing specialist, announces it has been shortlisted for two Private Equity Wire® US Awards, in recognition of its frontier work across the enterprise software (SaaS, Software as a Service) and private equity sectors.
Cruxy has been working with leading SaaSCos and their global private equity investors for nearly 13 years, acting as product + pricing interrogator and provocateur to identify, extract and drive value directly onto the P&L. Enterprise software has traditionally been priced on a per-seat basis. That model evaporates the moment AI agents generate most of the usage and so can only be captured by outcome or value-based pricing models. Competitive moats – the non-AI replicable value that can be priced and sold – are collapsing as vibe coding and CoCreate allow customers to code their own bespoke software. Yet some SaaSCos and PE firms – predominantly in Europe – are still slow to act.
This threat – and the opportunity - that has been bluntly termed the "SaaSpocalypse" was highlighted in early February 2026, with nearly $285 billion in market value evaporating from software and related sectors in 48 hours. From 2015 to 2025, more than 1,900 software companies were acquired by private equity in deals worth over $440 billion: sticky + recurring revenue, high margin, predictable cash flows, high switch costs. Private equity sought debt from a $3 trillion private credit market, with 25% - 35% being dedicated to software (UBS). Total tech distressed debt already sits near $47 billion. Some PE firms already cut their exposure to software by half across 2025. Private equity buyouts have fallen to their lowest levels since 2021.

The Private Equity Wire® awards are annual events that recognise outstanding performance in the private equity industry, honouring top managers and service providers in the private markets ecosystem - worldwide. Cruxy is proud to have been nominated for two Private Equity Wire® US Awards 2026, for its contribution to US private markets:
Value Creation Consulting Firm of the Year
Value creation and capture lives or dies on the P&L, and pricing is one of the fastest levers to move it. Cruxy is built for exactly that, through a lens the traditional consulting firms ignore: the product itself.
Cruxy doesn't advise on pricing from the market level. They interrogate product first, by feature and customer cohort, with each intervention informed by Cortex, its proprietary pricing intelligence engine covering over 2 billion tech data points. That gives portfolio companies their entire data telemetry – a unique and testimonial evidence-base to drive pricing decisions, not falling back on a judgement call. Unlike traditional consulting firms which rely on powerpoint decks, Cruxy partners with a company for 6-12 months after the deep-dive analysis to drive strategy into execution – so identifying, extracting and driving value.
The Cortex has quietly become the engine behind some of the most complex pricing transformations for the largest names in the enterprise software market. Delivering actionable pricing and product solutions grounded in real data and real-world deals - surfacing the truth across product, model, and market, and in seconds - the Cortex gives clients their first comprehensive understanding of how value is maintained and expanded inside their products and how product sits within a transforming market. Simply: once you understand product, you know how to price it. Cruxy announced in July it was building-out the functionality of the Cortex with yet further AI integration, enhancing benchmarking with market data so its specialists can drill both deeper and wider into client data. Cruxy also appointed a Head of Cortex and AI. This is the unique market-making value of the Cortex, and why Cruxy has been crafted to meet the Great Pricing Crisis full-on.

Advisory Firm of the Year: Overall

Most traditional "consulting" firms are broad in their focus: market sizing, due diligence, pricing, or product strategy. Cruxy is a specialist in a world of generalists. Their spike is value capture in B2B tech, for investors who want depth and data over generic strategy decks. Cruxy works pre-deal and post-acquisition. Product diligence that actually interrogates product-market fit. Pricing and packaging built on evidence, not instinct. All of it backed by Cortex, its proprietary value intelligence engine.

That's the kind of endorsement you earn by bringing depth, specialism and real value capture, not another deck of slides.
Carrie Osman, Founder and CEO of Cruxy: "Shortlisting for the Private Equity Wire® US Awards 2026 highlights the forensic and relentless work Cruxy has delivered since its inception – as well as our focus upon US private markets – where 80% of our business originates – and where the attitude to take action, take a risk and face reality founded in fact not judgement calls mirrors Cruxy's entire way of working".
"Nominated for Value Creation Consulting Firm of the Year and Advisory Firm of the Year (Overall) reflects our ethos – deploying our specialist human talent armed with our market-making pricing intelligence engine, the Cortex, which allows us to deliver actionable pricing and product solutions grounded in real data and real-world deals, and in seconds, only Cruxy can steer SaaSCos and PE firms through this SaaSpocalypse – locating value, creating product that captures value, and pricing value-directly surfacing it to the P&L".

Client examples of Value Creation:
- Pre-deal product diligence strategy and pricing opportunity assessment for Hg's $6.4 billion acquisition of OneStream.
- For one $200m B2B platform, declining net revenue retention and an unpriced AI suite had put growth targets at risk. Cruxy mapped over 25 value drivers, separated genuine AI differentiation from table stakes, and replaced seat-based pricing with a value-based metric. Within 90 days, the client signed $3.5m on the new model, doubled average contract value, and lifted NRR above 120%. That's not incremental. That's a portfolio company hitting numbers it wasn't going to hit, on a timeline that matters to a hold period.
