Charter school has limited vacancies as new school year approaches
BRADENTON, Fla. - Rezul -- As the Aug. 10 start date approaches and public-school waitlists grow larger for the 2026-27 school year, Team Success: A School of Excellence is registering students for the final available spots at the top-performing charter school.
Located in Bradenton, Team Success is among Florida's longest-tenured charter schools, with the campus' original institution – the Police Athletic League Academy – being the first charter school in Manatee County when it opened in 1997. Team Success operates a K-5 elementary school located near LECOM Park in Bradenton, along with a 6-12 middle and high school campus located next to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. Authorized by the School District of Manatee County to serve K-12 students, Team Success' mission is to build an academic foundation that allows all students to achieve their highest potential, empower resilient individuals and celebrate academic successes.

Team Success equips students for success through rigorous academics, character development and real-world skills, with an emphasis on literacy, math mastery and critical thinking across all grade levels. Team Success strives to build well-rounded leaders through its art and leadership enrichment programs. Team Success provides families with dedicated teachers and staff, student-focused learning and opportunities for academic and personal success. The Florida Department of Education has rated Team Success an A or B school every year since 2016.
Although Florida Law does not require public schools to provide bus transportation to students who live within two miles of campus, Team Success offers transportation to all K-12 students regardless of distance to ensure accessibility and further emphasize the school's mission to ensure that all students are provided with quality education, no matter what.
In early 2026, Team Success revealed substantial renovations to its K-5 campus gym, creating a safe, climate-controlled indoor space for P.E. classes, school assemblies and extracurricular activities for elementary students. Team Success also offers optional Saturday School to provide students in third through fifth grades an extra advantage in preparing for the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) exams.
