See Your Holiday Lights Before You Buy Them: MPWS Launches LightCast Roofline Scanner
Rezul News/10741963
Homeowners in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties can now scan their own roofline and preview permanent holiday lighting on their actual home before a single clip goes up.
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Rezul -- Macomb Power Washing Solutions Launches LightCast — Proprietary Roofline Scanning for Permanent Holiday Lighting
Macomb Power Washing Solutions, LLC (MPWS) today announced the launch of LightCast, a proprietary roofline scanning and design tool that lets homeowners configure a permanent holiday lighting system before installation begins. LightCast is free and available now throughout Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne Counties.
Permanent holiday lighting — low-profile LED track installed once along the roofline and architectural lines, then controlled year-round from a phone — is one of the fastest-growing exterior upgrades in Southeast Michigan. The buying process has not kept up. Homeowners are routinely asked to approve a four- or five-figure installation based on a stock photo of someone else's house and a measurement scratched onto a clipboard.

Using a standard smartphone, a homeowner or MPWS technician walks the perimeter of the home and captures the roofline. LightCast converts that capture into an accurate linear-foot model of the eaves, peaks, dormers, gables, and returns — then renders lighting scenes directly onto the customer's own home.
What LightCast does
"Nobody should spend that kind of money on their house based on a picture of somebody else's," said Justin Dillard, co-owner of Macomb Power Washing Solutions. "LightCast lets a homeowner scan their own roof and watch it turn orange and purple for Halloween, then red and green in December — before they sign anything."

"On the install side it's just as valuable," added Landen Glefke, co-owner. "Our crews show up with exact footage and a confirmed layout. Fewer change orders, and a schedule we can hold to in a Michigan fall."
Availability
MPWS is booking fall installations on a first-come basis. Permanent lighting installs are weather-dependent and capacity is limited ahead of the first hard freeze. Homeowners can request a free scan at macombpowerwashing.com/services/holiday-lighting or by calling (586) 284-3810.

LightCast converts that capture into an accurate linear-foot model of the eaves, peaks, dormers, gables, and returns — then renders lighting scenes directly onto the customer's own home.
What LightCast does
- Measures the roofline. Linear footage, peaks, dormers, and returns captured in minutes — no ladder, no "we'll measure it on install day."
- Previews scenes on your house. Warm white year-round. Orange and purple for Halloween. Red and green for Christmas. Customers see it before they commit.
- Prices accurately. Footage is measured, not estimated, so the number a homeowner sees is the number they pay.
- Saves the home profile. Future service and add-ons start from real data instead of a new site visit.
