Only One Flight Stands Between Los Angeles Youth Leaders and a Life-Saving Mission in South Africa
Rezul News/10740056
International partnerships and community support are secured. The final step is an aviation partner willing to help bring a global water safety mission to life.
ATLANTA & JOHANNESBURG - Rezul -- Swim Up Hill and Soweto Swim School are exploring opportunities to expand access to swimming education across South Africa, including the possibility of developing an additional community swimming facility that would increase access to life-saving water safety programs.
The international initiative builds upon Swim Up Hill's ambitious goal of teaching one million people annually how to swim while helping develop the next generation of confident swimmers, leaders, and future Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls.
The Mission is Ready. The Flight is Not.
With local logistics secured and community partners in place, one challenge remains: transportation from Los Angeles to South Africa.

Swim Up Hill is seeking a strategic aviation partner, including airlines, aerospace companies, aviation foundations, and flight training organizations to help make the journey possible.
"Our Swim Up Hill and Soweto Swim School teams believe the opportunity to sponsor our initiatives to increase swimming access across South African townships aligns naturally with companies and foundations dedicated to youth empowerment, education, leadership development, and expanding career pathways, said Jamal Hill, decorated Paralympian, Founder and CEO of Swim Up Hill Foundation. "Aviation has long represented possibility, exploration, and opportunity. By helping bridge the distance between Los Angeles and South Africa, a sponsor would become a founding partner in a movement designed to create lasting impact in communities on both sides of the globe."
Organizations interested in supporting the initiative through travel sponsorship or strategic partnership are encouraged to contact Swim Up Hill to help turn an international vision into reality.
