Ian Black Real Estate hires building engineer

SARASOTA, Fla. - Rezul -- Ian Black Real Estate, a premier commercial real estate firm based in Sarasota, Fla., has hired Robert Annello as building engineer, further strengthening the firm's growing property management division.
In his new role, Annello is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair and preventive maintenance of a large portfolio of office buildings in Sarasota. He will help ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently while coordinating contractors, managing work orders and supporting a high level of tenant satisfaction across the firm's properties under management.

"His extensive technical expertise and commitment to operational excellence will help us continue delivering exceptional service to the property owners and tenants who rely on our team every day."

Ian Black Real Estate offers a full spectrum of commercial real estate services—including sales, leasing and property management—throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. The firm's property management division currently manages a portfolio totaling 2 million square feet of office, retail and industrial space.
Annello brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial property maintenance and facilities management. Prior to joining Ian Black Real Estate, he served as a building engineer with Sodexo. He also previously worked with First Realty Management's Boston condominium division.
Throughout his career, Annello has managed preventive maintenance programs, HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing repairs, life safety systems, vendor coordination and day-to-day building operations. He has been recognized for improving operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of building performance.
