Lori Eubanks' "The Palette in Bloom" at the Geary Gallery

DARIEN, Conn. - Rezul -- This May, the Geary Gallery of Darien is proud to present the lush, joyful florals and abstract paintings of Chambersburg, PA artist, Lori Eubanks. Her vibrant, expressive exhibit runs May 1-31 at the Geary Gallery, located at 576 Boston Post Road. All are welcome and admission is free.

About Lori Eubanks

Lori Eubanks is inspired by the French Impressionists, but is dedicated to her unique approach to form. Her work is loose, intuitive and richly complex. Her medium of choice is oil and she is most often recognized for her colorful, vibrant palette. Eubanks finds inspiration traveling throughout the United States and Europe. She paints what moves her on an emotional level and her work invites the viewer to look closer and connect with memories of familiar places.

Eubanks recently spent time in Italy and is just beginning to paint the many beautiful sights and scenes she encountered there. She is primarily self-taught, but has taken many workshops, including a 10-day trip to France which included painting in Monet's Garden.

Her love of painting began at an early age but her growth as an artist has accelerated in the last 10 years.

She is represented by galleries across the United States and her work is included in many private and corporate collections, such as F&M Bank, Paramount Studios, RE/MAX Real Estate, and Mass Mutual. Her work is also collected by a Lord in the House of Parliament.

Eubanks lives in Chambersburg, PA with her husband David. She is a mom to three amazing children who are now grown and starting families of their own.
