Will McIntosh, Ph.D. Retires From Affinius Capital; Mark Fitzgerald Named Head of Research

SAN ANTONIO - Rezul -- After an illustrious career spanning more than three decades, Affinius Capital announced Will McIntosh, Ph.D. retired from his role as Global Head of Research effective May 1, 2025. His successor, Mark Fitzgerald, has been promoted to Managing Director, Head of Research.
In his 14 years of service at Affinius, Dr. McIntosh has been instrumental in shaping the firm's research initiatives and investment strategies, leaving a lasting legacy as one of the most highly respected researchers in the real estate investment sector.
Dr. McIntosh is an established industry veteran with over 35 years of experience at some of the world's leading investment firms. He was previously Head of Global Research for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority's Real Estate Department and the Chief Investment Officer of Fund Evaluation Group, and held leadership positions at ING Real Estate, AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp., Prudential Real Estate Investors International, and MIG Realty Advisors. Dr. McIntosh also was Professor of Finance and Dean of the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati and authored numerous articles in leading real estate professional and academic journals. In 2024, Dr. McIntosh collaborated with Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) and other industry influencers as editor of the book "AFIRE Guide to US Real Estate Investing."
