Consequential Actions Expands "Self-Evident: The Road to 1776" With a Weekly Interview
Rezul News/10741697
The 22-week series tracing the intellectual origins of American liberty now closes each week with a live conversation — a politician, historian, economist, businessperson, or fellow citizen who lives inside that week's theme.
MENTOR, Ohio - Rezul -- Consequential Actions, the libertarian constitutional and foreign policy platform created and hosted by Jeff Kellick, has expanded its flagship series, Self-Evident: The Road to 1776, by adding a weekly Thursday interview to its programming.
The series now features four weekly touchpoints: a written article, a historical episode, a contemporary discussion, and a live interview that connects each week's historical topic to modern issues through conversations with subject matter experts and public figures.
Self-Evident: The Road to 1776 explores the intellectual foundations of American liberty and the ideas that influenced the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Rather than presenting the American founding as an isolated event, the series traces more than two thousand years of philosophy, law, and political thought that shaped the Founders' understanding of natural rights and limited government.

Running 22 weeks across 44 episodes, the series launched June 7, 2026, as part of programming leading into America's 250th anniversary.
Each week follows a structured format:
"The article gives you the depth. The history gives you the roots. The application shows you the stakes. And the interview puts a living face on all of it," said Jeff Kellick.
"History can feel like it happened to other people a long time ago. It did not. The struggle over liberty and government is the same debate every generation faces. These interviews help show why those ideas still matter today."

Consequential Actions examines constitutional government, foreign policy, economics, and individual liberty through the lens of natural law, Austrian economics, the non-aggression principle, and America's non-interventionist tradition. Every discussion asks one recurring question:
"Did this leave Americans more free, or more governed?"
The current series is the first installment of a planned historical trilogy that also includes From General Welfare to the Great Society and Empire of Liberty.
