Asset Campus Housing Takes Over Management of Murfreesboro's 1540 Place, Upgrades Property Features
Rezul News/10408674
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Feb. 13, 2019 - Rezul -- Asset Campus Housing, the leading provider of student housing management in the United States, has assumed management of the 864-bed 1540 Place (https://1540place.com) in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with plans to upgrade many of the property's amenities as well as earn certification from the city's Crime Free Multi-Housing Program.
"We are excited for 1540 Place to join the Asset Campus Housing family," said Chief Operating Officer Julie Bonnin. "This is a great property, but it needs some small upgrades and a bit of tender loving care to reach its full potential. That's where we come in. We are known for our ability to transform properties and drive results for clients. It's at the heart of who we are and is a product of our experience serving clients and residents."
One of the enhancements Asset Campus plans to make to the 240-unit 1540 Place (formerly known as College Grove) is pursuing certification under the city's Crime Free Multi-Housing Program (https://www.murfreesborotn.gov/1475/Crime-Free-Multi-Housing-Program), which is a crime prevention program designed to reduce crime, drugs and gangs on apartment properties. The program is operated in conjunction with the Murfreesboro Police Department and Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Asset Campus officials said they hope participation in the program will help residents enjoy their living experience at 1540 Place.

Asset Campus also plans to upgrade 1540 Place apartment features, such as the flooring, appliances and overall aesthetics. Units currently feature modern kitchens, in-unit washer and dryer, private bedrooms, a private patio or balcony and ample communal space for sharing time with roommates and friends. The units come fully furnished in either two- or four-bedroom floor plans.
The property is located a short distance from MTSU and includes community amenities such as an all-access fitness center, business center with Mac computers, onsite dog park, sand volleyball court, two tennis courts, a resort-style swimming pool, community-wide Wi-Fi and picnic areas with grills. Asset Campus will soon update the fitness center equipment and redesign the clubhouse and leasing office.
1540 Place becomes the fourth Murfreesboro property managed by Asset Campus. The company already manages three nearby properties, including the Blue, which recently completed a rebranding effort.
