PITTSFIELD, Mass. - Rezul -- The Veterans For Peace (VFP), Daniel Shays Chapter 186, will host DEEP DIVE at the United Church of Christ, 110 South Street, Pittsfield. Featuring keynote speaker and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Chris Hedges, this urgent community summit marks a pivot in the region's fight to heal the toxic legacy left by General Electric (GE) in the Housatonic River valley on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Taking a cue from USMC Master Sgt. Jerry Ensminger, whose relentless battle exposed the toxic water cover-up at Camp Lejeune, these veterans are framing the fight for clean water as a matter of domestic security and moral duty.
