SALEM, Ore. - Rezul -- State of the Oregon Real Estate Market

Opendoor, the internet-based real estate firm, recently positioned itself to acquire OS National.  OS National is a national title company, and with its acquisition provides Opendoor a more streamlined process.  Short of Escrow, Opendoor will have the ability to create a more streamlined process between their instant buying option for sellers through its eventual listing and sale.  What this means is that they are a more significant threat to other brokerages and Realtors as this has streamlined their operations. With a quicker pace from purchase offer to final sale, they can close and reap the profits at an equally quick rate.  This bodes well for their overall success, but not so well for the rest of us.
