The Return of Plaza México's 'Paseo de Las Estrellas' Honoring Recording Artist Majo Aguilar
Rezul News/10748989
Rezul -- Plaza México announces the return of its iconic Paseo de las Estrellas (Walk of Stars), honoring on this occasion, with a 'Mayan Star,' the new generation of Mexican and Mexican/American personalities of the entertainment, community advocacy and sports world.
There is no better example of that bright future in store for the Mexican entertainment industry than the multiple awards winning singer-songwriter Majo Aguilar. Majo is both the traditional representation of Mexican music, and a perfect example of the fearlessness of Mexico's young music artists as she experiments with modern sounds and collaborates with artists of varying genres like a musical ambassador for the country.
As the granddaughter of Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre, two legendary figures who represented Mexico's Golden Age of Cinema and were each honored with a star on Mexico City's Paseo de las Luminarias, Majo is a fitting choice to become the first honoree in the relaunch of Plaza México's Paseo de las Estrellas. She proudly follows in her grandparents' footsteps, with her grandmother's star already enshrined at Plaza México.
The Plaza México Paseo de las Estrellas ceremony will take place at 3100 E Imperial Hwy, Lynwood, CA 90262, on October 30 at 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Majo Aguilar will receive her star in the category of Recording Artist.
ABOUT OUR HONOREE: MAJO AGUILAR
Growing up in the iconic Aguilar dynasty it is no wonder that Majo not only loved making music from an early age, but through her famous family Majo learned to appreciate all types of musical genres from rancheras to progressive rock, pop, even heavy metal and alternative music. This gave Majo significant creative freedom and drawing her influences from a wide array of artists Majo developed a distinctive style that merged traditional musica Mexicana with her own artistic evolution.

Her dedication and authenticity earned her multiple Latin GRAMMY nominations every year since 2021, including Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album in 2022, 2023 and 2024, showcasing her heartfelt approach to representing Mexico through her music. Over the years, she has collaborated with renowned artists from multiple genres further solidifying her position as a leader of the industry next generation of superstars.
