Texas Named Best State For Business For Record 22nd Consecutive Year

~ In a recent announcement, Governor Greg Abbott proudly declared that Texas has once again been named the Best State for Business by Chief Executive magazine for the 22nd consecutive year. The governor credited the state's pro-growth policies, highly skilled workforce, and strategic investments in education and infrastructure for this achievement.
"Texas is where businesses innovate and where opportunity abounds," stated Governor Abbott. "We have consistently dominated the nation as the Best State for Business, and we will continue to do so as we strive towards building a more prosperous Texas for future generations."
The Chief Executive Group Publisher Christopher Chalk also praised Texas' impressive track record, stating, "Truly, this is an incredible run that Texas has going. CEOs are a tough group to please, and yet year after year Texas continues to earn the top spot - no small feat."

The Best State for Business ranking is determined through an annual survey of the nation's leading CEOs, presidents, and business owners conducted by Chief Executive magazine. Since its inception, Texas has held onto the number one spot every year.
Governor Abbott further celebrated the strength of the Texas economy on Friday as preliminary estimates from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis showed that it had expanded to $2.9 trillion in 2025 based on current-dollar gross domestic product (GDP). Additionally, Texas led the nation in growth in 2025 with an impressive rate of 2.5%.
This latest recognition only solidifies Texas' reputation as a top destination for businesses looking to thrive and succeed. With its business-friendly environment and continuous efforts towards growth and development, it is no surprise that Texas remains at the forefront of economic success in the United States.
