Revolution Enterprises expands Central Illinois footprint, appoints new leadership

CHICAGO - March 29, 2019 - Rezul -- Revolution Enterprises ("Revolution" or "Company"), a national leader in the cannabis industry, is pleased to announce the close on 70 acres of land adjacent to its existing medical cannabis cultivation facility in Delavan, Illinois. The additional acreage will allow the company to increase its capacity to over 600,000 square feet of grow space to adequately supply the current growing medical cannabis market and a future adult use market.

"This addition was the next logical iteration of expanding our Illinois footprint, and is a continuing step in our strategic national expansion efforts," said CEO Mark de Souza. "This move also solidifies our commitment to the central Illinois economy, as we anticipate adding up to 300 jobs at the facility, while exploring options to help bring investment to the local community."

To prepare for the impending market influx, the company has also appointed new leadership by promoting its own Justin Staples to President – Illinois Retail Division. Mr. Staples will serve as a Senior Executive leading the company's foray into retail markets both in Illinois and nationally.

Justin has used his status as a professional athlete to change conceptions of cannabis, and educate through mediums like The Vault, a podcast series he hosts.
