Mesa: Early Voting Begins for Nov. 3 General Election

~ Early voting for the Nov. 3 general election begins Oct. 7, and Mesa voters will decide four city ballot questions. All residents of District 5 will also vote in a runoff for the district's City Council seat.

The ballot measures include general obligation bond questions on public safety and transportation improvements intended to make streets safer and less congested. Two proposed charter amendments concern City Council meeting procedures and public notice, and the posting and publication of ordinances.

The City Clerk's Office said ballots have been mailed to voters who requested early ballots. Oct. 23 is the deadline to request a ballot by mail, and voters should mail completed ballots by Oct. 27 to allow time for delivery.

On Election Day, voting locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Location and drop-box information is available at locations.maricopa.vote. Details about the ballot measures and election are available at mesaaz.gov/elections and in the 2026 General Election Publicity Pamphlet.
