Long Beach, CA ~ The City of Long Beach is offering a unique opportunity for eligible youth to explore career and education pathways in the aerospace industry through the 2026 Space Beach Youth Career Expedition. This six-day program, organized by the City's Department of Economic Development & Opportunity (EDO), aims to inspire and equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to succeed in this dynamic sector.

This smaller group size allows for more personalized career coaching, stronger peer connections, and meaningful access to employers, mentors, and post-secondary partners. The program will take place on July 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th, and 30th. Participants who successfully complete the program may qualify for an incentive of up to $1,000.
