Sarasota Lock & Key buys showroom/warehouse property near downtown Sarasota
Rezul News/10737740
SARASOTA, Fla. - Rezul -- Sarasota Lock & Key, a family-owned and operated locksmith serving the Sarasota area since 1925, has purchased a 4,620-square-foot showroom/warehouse property at 1770 N. Washington Blvd. near downtown Sarasota for an undisclosed price.
George Brusco, CCIM, of Ian Black Real Estate represented the seller, Golf Coast Yamaha Inc., doing business as Golf Coast Golf Carts, in the transaction. Golf Coast Golf Carts operated from the location for 38 years, and the sale follows the owner's decision to retire.
The acquisition gives Sarasota Lock & Key a larger, more visible home for its growing business. The company will relocate from a leased 2,640-square-foot space at 1342 N. Lime Ave. to the N. Washington Blvd. property later this year.
"This property is an ideal fit for Sarasota Lock & Key because it gives the company the visibility, space and ownership opportunity it was looking for in a location near downtown Sarasota," said Brusco, broker associate with Ian Black Real Estate. "It is a move-in-ready showroom/warehouse building with parking in front and storage in the rear, which aligns well with how the business serves its customers."
