ORLANDO, Fla. - Rezul -- The Israel Ministry of Tourism's Southern Region is participating in the 2026 Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting in Orlando this week, with activities and engagements continuing through Wednesday. A delegation of Israel-based tourism professionals is on site meeting directly with supporters and partners from across the United States.
Under the guidance of Consul-Director for the Israel Ministry of Tourism U.S. Southern Region, Lorin Maugery, the delegation's presence underscores a continued commitment to strengthening ties with Christian communities that have long supported travel to Israel. The visit provides an opportunity to highlight partnerships and travel experiences throughout the country.
Throughout the multi-day event, representatives from across Israel's tourism industry, including destination specialists and travel providers, are connecting with attendees to discuss upcoming initiatives and to foster meaningful relationships with both returning and prospective travelers.
