Homes By Taber Accepting Nominations for 2020 Taber Cares Partners

Oklahoma City home builder Homes By Taber is now accepting applications for 2020 non-profit partners for its Taber Cares initiative. Homes By Taber donates volunteer hours and $250 of each home sale to its partner of the month.
EDMOND, Okla. - Rezul -- Every month, a local non-profit organization benefits from homebuyers in the Oklahoma City metro area. Local homebuilder, Homes By Taber, donates $250 from every house sold in a month to a designated charitable organization. Homes By Taber's Taber Cares initiative is now accepting applications for the 2020 contributions.
In the first 11 months of the year, Homes By Taber donated $105,750 to Taber Cares partners, which includes the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Infant Crisis Center, Edmond Mobile Meals, Project 66 Food Bank. Children's Hospital Foundation, and Hope Center of Edmond.
Taber Cares was established in 2015 and has been supporting local charities even before that time. Recipients span a broad spectrum of needs, including infants, foster children, homeless, sick and disadvantaged children, animal protection, and disabled and chronically ill people of all ages. Julie LeBanc manages the charitable initiative established by her husband, Taber LeBlanc, founder and president of Homes By Taber.

Non-profit organizations also benefit from the company's commitment to serving the community. So far in 2019, team members provided 1,363 volunteer hours.
"We welcome applications from any non-profit organization that could use our help," says Julie LeBlanc. "Whether or not they become recipients of one-month's financial support, they could also benefit from our dedicated group of potential volunteers all year."
Interested organizations can fill out an application (https://www.homesbytaber.com/taber-cares?fbclid=IwAR2UrhGidtv7OFxJQa5UOO34bJy6ClEfuA9-F0p4kCiqDbV_tTgJ1At_7-g) on Homes by Taber's website with information about their work in the community and what volunteer opportunities they have available. The application deadline is December 15, 2019. Past recipients are still eligible for selection in 2020.
