Rezul News/10732517
ATLANTA ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Brian P. Kemp revealed that Prime, Inc., a prominent transportation company in North America, will be investing over $160 million to establish a new regional hub in Spalding County. This development is expected to bring in more than 120 full-time jobs and hire over 50 professional drivers.
Governor Kemp expressed his excitement about the project, stating that it will contribute to Georgia's already thriving transportation and logistics industry, which generates a staggering $107 billion and provides employment opportunities across the state. He also extended his gratitude to the state and local economic developers for making this project possible and commended the company leaders for choosing Georgia as their new base of operations.
Prime Inc., known for its refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, hopper, intermodal, and logistics transportation services, currently operates a fleet of over 7,000 units with more than 8,500 drivers. CEO and Founder Robert Low shared his enthusiasm for the company's growth with the construction of a new terminal campus in Georgia. He praised the state's strong work ethic that aligns perfectly with Prime Inc.'s values of dedication and excellence. Low also highlighted Spalding County's strategic location near their top customers as an added advantage for delivering exceptional service.

The new Southeastern campus will be situated at High Falls 16 Business Center near Griffin and will feature state-of-the-art facilities such as driver development and training centers, equipment maintenance areas, and comfortable amenities for employees. Additionally, Prime Inc. plans to sell well-maintained used truck/trailer equipment on-site and recycle used truck tires to produce aggregate rubber material for mulch and pellets. The company is currently hiring mechanics, driving operators, and facility maintenance staff for its new campus. Interested individuals can find out more about job opportunities at Prime by visiting their website, www.lifeatprime.com.
Chairman Nat Doughie of the Griffin-Spalding Development Authority expressed his excitement about Prime's investment in the region, stating that it will bring significant capital and excellent career prospects for the residents of Griffin and Spalding County. He also praised the company's efforts to enhance the employee and driver experience through additional facilities on their campus.
