MEC President and CEO Jag Reddy said Georgia's workforce and economic development support made it an ideal location for the company's newest facility. He said the investment will expand MEC's manufacturing network and the company expects to hire locally.

Kemp said the project would support Georgia's manufacturing supply chain and bring jobs to the region. Local officials also welcomed the investment, citing its potential to create career opportunities and strengthen McDuffie County's industrial base.
