Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis Reappoints Four to the South Broward Hospital District

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has reappointed four individuals to the South Broward Hospital District. Brad Friedman, Douglas Harrison, Steven Harvey, and Diana Taub will continue to serve on the board.

Friedman, who is the President and Owner of Artisan Foods Catering, Inc., has been an active member of his community. He has also served as a member of the James Beard Foundation. Friedman holds a degree from Broward College.

Douglas Harrison, General Counsel for Blue Mountain Analytics, LLC, has also been reappointed. He is known for his involvement in the community as a member of the Meadow Pines Community Development District Board of Supervisors. In 2019, he was honored with the Hall of Fame Distinguished Alumni Award from the Broward Education Foundation. Harrison received his bachelor's degree in political science and juris doctor from the University of Florida.

Steven Harvey will continue to serve as Assistant Dean of Operations and Administration at Nova Southeastern University. With over 30 years of experience in education and management at Nova Southeastern University, Harvey brings valuable expertise to the board. He holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.

Lastly, Diana Taub has been reappointed as a Self-employed Consultant in various areas such as Advertising, Design, Education, and Insurance. She is an active member of her community through her involvement with organizations such as the Florida Association of School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Administrators. Taub holds a bachelor's degree from Pratt Institute and a master's degree from Nova Southeastern University.

These four individuals have proven their dedication to their community through their various roles and accomplishments. Their reappointment to the South Broward Hospital District board will ensure continued progress and success for the district.
