Columbia Parks and Recreation plans walk and memorial to commemorate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for their annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Candlelight Walk and Memorial Celebration, set to take place on Monday, Jan. 19. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Armory Sports Center, located at 701 E. Ash St., where participants are asked to gather in the basement of the facility. From there, the walk will make its way to St. Luke United Methodist Church at 204 E. Ash St., where the memorial celebration will commence at 7 p.m.
