Mike Bishop joins Commercial Asset Partners Realty's growing commercial real estate practice

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - Rezul -- Commercial Asset Partners (CAP) Realty has welcomed Mike Bishop as director of strategic development, adding a seasoned manufacturing business owner and community leader – turned commercial real estate sales associate – to its growing industrial real estate business.

Bishop has co-owned Thirsty Buffalo Brewing Company and Craftek Beverages with his wife, Erin Bishop, since 2023 and served as senior vice president/director of stakeholder engagement for the Pasco Economic Development Council from 2020 to 2024. He has founded four companies in the brewery space since 2011.

Bishop's background gives him a rare, firsthand understanding of the operational realities faced by manufacturers — experience that now directly informs his work in supporting commercial real estate decisions. From navigating leases and site selection to managing utilities, operations, logistics and long-term growth planning, he's spent years making real estate decisions that materially affect business performance.

"Commercial real estate decisions have real consequences for manufacturers," Bishop said. "I've lived through tough leases and transactions that didn't serve the business the way they should have. That experience drives how I want to advise clients, helping them to avoid costly mistakes and make decisions that support long-term success."

At CAP Realty, Bishop will focus primarily on industrial, office and retail commercial real estate in central Pasco County, east Pasco and southern Hernando County, one of the Tampa Bay region's most active growth corridors. As a Land O'Lakes resident, local business owner and former economic development leader, Bishop has deep knowledge of this market.

Before joining CAP Realty, Bishop spent nearly five years with the Pasco Economic Development Council, serving as second in command and working closely with manufacturers, developers and public partners to support business expansion, relocation and facility planning across the region.
