Colorado: Governor Polis Celebrates New Investments to Build Better Transit-Oriented Communities

WINTER PARK ~ Governor Jared Polis of Colorado has signed a new law that aims to bridge the gap between affordable housing, infrastructure, and transit expansions in the state. The law, known as HB26-1065 - Transit and Housing Investment Zones, was sponsored by Speaker Julie McCluskie and Representative Steven Woodrow, along with Senators Dylan Roberts and Tony Exum.

During the signing ceremony in Winter Park, Governor Polis expressed his excitement about the potential impact of this law on Colorado communities. He stated that by investing in transportation and housing together, the state is creating livable and workable spaces for its residents to thrive.
