EVANSVILLE, Ind. ~ Evansville will hold its final Block-by-Block event of 2026 on Oct. 23 in the Star neighborhood, bringing city services to residents and supporting neighborhood revitalization, the city said.

The event is scheduled from 9 to 11 a.m. at 1007 W. Maryland St. The city also plans to demolish a home as part of Mayor Stephanie Terry's Flight Blight initiative, which targets blighted properties.

"Block-by-Block is all about" bringing city departments and services into neighborhoods, addressing code enforcement concerns and connecting residents with resources, Terry said in a statement. She said the effort reflects the administration's commitment to neighborhood revitalization.
