Rezul News/10735902
~ The City of Colorado Springs will experience some closures in the upcoming week due to a scheduled furlough day and the observance of Memorial Day. According to a press release from the city, most administrative departments will not be open for regular business on Friday, May 22 and Monday, May 25.
However, emergency services such as the police and fire departments, as well as the 911 call center, will continue to operate and respond as usual on both days. Additionally, city enterprises that are self-funded will remain open on Friday.
Residents and businesses are advised to plan accordingly for any services that require in-person visits or administrative support during these closures. More information can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/FurloughDays.
The following City of Colorado Springs administrative and elected administrative offices and agencies will be fully closed on both Friday and Monday: City Administration Building, City Clerk, City Hall, Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum (although it will be open regular hours on Saturday), Municipal Court, Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services Administrative Building, Sales Tax Office, Sports Office at Memorial Park, and Westside Community Center.
