Chicago Creator Aaron Devere Unveils GOOBZ'D™, an Original Animated and Collectible Universe

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. - Rezul -- Devere & Co. Publishing today announced GOOBZ'D™, an original animated entertainment and collectible property created by Chicago-based creator Aaron Devere.

Although this announcement is being issued from the Chicago area, the story is not set in Chicago or on Earth. GOOBZ'D unfolds in Resora, a strange civilization somewhere beyond our world and outside our familiar sense of time. Resora is colorful, unpredictable and filled with distinctive environments built around friendship, individuality, belonging, discovery, humor and adventure.

At the center of the story are CHOMPZ and BUGZ, the two lead characters within a mysterious core cast known as the Founding Twelve. The identities and details of the remaining ten characters are being kept classified for future official reveals.

GOOBZ'D is being developed as a connected cross-media universe spanning animated storytelling, collectible squishy characters, books, merchandise and future brand collaborations. Each collectible is designed with its own personality, lore and signature squeeze feature. The larger collector system is planned to include numbered characters, rarity levels, matching collector cards and limited serialized releases.

"GOOBZ'D was never designed to be just another toy line," said Aaron Devere, creator of GOOBZ'D. "We are building a world with characters people can laugh with, root for and collect. CHOMPZ and BUGZ open the door to Resora, but the larger story is only beginning."

Character development, world-building and early product development are currently underway. Dedicated announcements for CHOMPZ and BUGZ will follow, while the rest of the Founding Twelve remain unrevealed until their scheduled introductions.
