Carisma Therapeutics Announces Changes to its Board of Directors

~ Carisma Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: CARM) has announced the addition of Sohanya Cheng, MBA to their Board of Directors, effective October 31, 2024. The clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company is focused on developing immunotherapies and is excited to have Ms. Cheng join their team.

According to Sanford Zweifach, Chair of the Carisma Board, Ms. Cheng's extensive experience in oncology and her skills in leadership, strategic planning, and commercialization will be valuable assets as the company continues to advance its portfolio and strengthen its foundation.

In addition to Ms. Cheng's appointment, Michael Torok has informed the Board of his intention to step down as a member on October 31, 2024 due to other professional commitments. The Board is grateful for Mr. Torok's service and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
