California: Governor Newsom proclaims Patriot Day

~ Sacramento, CA - Governor Gavin Newsom has declared September 11, 2026 as "Patriot Day" in the State of California. This proclamation comes on the 25th anniversary of the tragic terror attacks that shook the nation and claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people.

First responders ran towards danger and everyday people risked their lives to help strangers."
