~ Boston Parks and Recreation Department Releases Summer Guide for Outdoor Fun

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department has just released their highly anticipated Summer Guide, offering a variety of free events and activities for all ages to enjoy this summer. The guide, available in both PDF format on the Parks Department website and in physical copies at their offices located at 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, is the perfect resource for those looking to make the most out of their summer in Boston.

For those who prefer a physical copy, the Summer Guide can also be found at Boston City Hall, Boston Public Libraries, and select BCYF center locations while supplies last. The guide features a wide range of free activities taking place throughout Boston's parks, including concerts, movies, fitness classes, sports centers, watercolor painting workshops, and fun children's activities.

Some highlights from the Summer Guide include the Summer Fitness Series, an opening celebration at the Boston Common Frog Pond spray pool on June 23rd, arts and craft workshops for children ages 3 to 10, Parks Open Mic Nights, watercolor workshops in June, movie nights in parks citywide, ParkARTS Neighborhood Concerts, sports centers in various neighborhoods such as East Boston and Jamaica Plain, sunset concerts on golf clubhouse patios and much more.
