SWENSON starts construction on senior assisted and memory care community in San Jose

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Rezul -- SWENSON, a leading Northern California real estate development company, announced it has started construction on a new senior living community for owner Alliance Residential Company—the nation's second largest multifamily developer. This is SWENSON's second project with Alliance Residential Company. Located at 1015 S. Bascom Avenue in San Jose, Holden of San Jose Senior Assisted & Memory Care will offer six stories of assisted living and memory care including 165 fully licensed units—130 assisted living units and 35 memory care units—and two retail spaces. The 191,650 square foot project will feature many exceptional amenities including a chef-quality commercial kitchen, dining room, dedicated memory care dining and living room, a theater, a wellness center, exercise room, arts & crafts room, billiards/game room, and an amazing exterior courtyard. A bistro and salon will also open and be available to the public as well as the residents of the community.

The fully licensed Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) regulated by the State of California will include 24-hour staff that will accommodate a variety of residents, including those with dementia, those in need of help with activities of daily living, and those with looking for a more engaging, resort-style set of services.
