SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Rezul -- The Center for Personal Protection and Safety (CPPS) will host a Threat Management Workshop in Spokane Valley, bringing together security, HR, and risk management professionals for a hands-on, one-day training focused on Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM). This workshop will be led by Certified Threat Managers (CMT) Jameson Ritter and Randy McAlister.

Participants will leave with practical tools they can implement immediately, including:
  • A Threat Management Team Playbook, a customizable guide that defines roles, threat levels, and incident workflows
  • A Threat Management Workbook, serving as a practical reference for BTAM concepts, case management, and ongoing training
  • Applied practice through scenario-based exercises, reinforcing decision-making and response under pressure

"In many organizations, threat management plans exist on paper but haven't been tested," said Jake Newton, Chief Operating Officer at CPPS. "This workshop gives leaders the opportunity to exercise their processes, identify gaps, and build confidence in their ability to manage threats before harm occurs."

The workshop emphasizes proactive prevention, clear communication, and coordinated response—critical elements for reducing risk, protecting people, and minimizing organizational liability. Attendees also benefit from peer discussion, expert facilitation, and networking opportunities throughout the day.
