CPPS hosts a one-day Threat Management Workshop in Spokane Valley for security, HR, and risk professionals. This hands-on training covers Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) strategies and best practices.
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Rezul -- The Center for Personal Protection and Safety (CPPS) will host a Threat Management Workshop in Spokane Valley, bringing together security, HR, and risk management professionals for a hands-on, one-day training focused on Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM). This workshop will be led by Certified Threat Managers (CMT) Jameson Ritter and Randy McAlister.
Designed for leaders responsible for protecting people and organizations, the workshop helps participants move beyond awareness and compliance toward operational readiness. Through guided instruction and applied practice, attendees learn how to identify concerning behaviors, evaluate risk, and manage threats in a structured, defensible manner.

"In many organizations, threat management plans exist on paper but haven't been tested," said Jake Newton, Chief Operating Officer at CPPS. "This workshop gives leaders the opportunity to exercise their processes, identify gaps, and build confidence in their ability to manage threats before harm occurs."
The workshop emphasizes proactive prevention, clear communication, and coordinated response—critical elements for reducing risk, protecting people, and minimizing organizational liability.
