Juneau: Eaglecrest Board of Directors to Interview Finalist for General Manager Position

~ The Eaglecrest Ski Area is one step closer to finding a new General Manager as the Board of Directors prepares to interview the final candidate, Julie Jackson Piper. The public meeting, scheduled for Thursday, July 2 at 5:30 p.m., will be held in the Assembly Chambers and also available via Zoom webinar.

Members of the community are encouraged to attend and provide feedback on Ms. Piper during the meeting. A feedback form will be distributed by CBJ Human Resources and will also be available in the July 2 Meeting Agenda Packet. The forms will be collected at the meeting and through email for the Board to review after the interview.

Ms. Piper brings a wealth of experience to her candidacy, currently serving as Recreation Manager for the City of Richland, Washington since 2018. Her previous roles include Aquatics Manager for the City and Borough of Juneau and Youth & Community Outreach Coordinator & Snowsports School Supervisor at Eaglecrest. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Ski Area Business Management from Northern Michigan University, with her resume and cover letter available in the July 2 Meeting Agenda Packet.
