"FREE FIT DAY is really about creating a place for people to connect through fitness," said Jefferson Fit owner Jefferson Charles. "We have so many active people in Sarasota, and it's great to give them a free event where they can exercise, meet each other and try something new."

The approximately 5K route starts and finishes at Jefferson Fit and travels through downtown Sarasota and Payne Park. Participants can run or walk at their own pace, and guests do not need to participate in every activity to attend. Visitors are welcome to come for the full morning or stop by for part of the event.

Jefferson Fit is located at 1800 Second Street, Suite 100, in downtown Sarasota. Free parking is available.

The event is free and no membership is required. Registration is requested through Jefferson Fit's FREE FIT DAY registration page at http://www.jeffersonfit.com/stronger-everyday/free-fit-day-sarasota.
