Idaho: Lava Hot Springs to host Governor Little's next "Capital for a Day" event

Boise, Idaho ~ Boise, Idaho - Governor Brad Little will be hosting his next "Capital for a Day" event in Lava Hot Springs on Tuesday, Sept. 22. The event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lava Senior Center and Community Center, located at 150 N Center St, Lava Hot Springs, ID 83246.
Joining Governor Little at the event will be several officials including Idaho Department of Agriculture Director Chanel Tewalt, Idaho Department of Water Resources Director Mat Weaver, Idaho Department of Environmental Quality Director Jess Byrne, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare Director Juliet Charron, Idaho Department of Lands Director Dustin Miller, Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation Director Susan Buxton, Idaho Transportation Department Director Alberto Gonzalez, and Idaho Department of Finance Director Salvador Cruz.

Governor Little expressed his excitement for the upcoming event stating, "It is an honor to bring my next Capital for a Day to Lava Hot Springs. I look forward to hearing directly from the people of Bannock County about what matters most to them." He also added that these conversations are crucial in understanding how state government can better serve its citizens.
The "Capital for a Day" events allow for open communication between state officials and local communities. It gives residents the opportunity to voice their concerns and provide feedback on how state government can improve its services. Governor Little hopes that this event will lead to more effective and responsive governance in Bannock County.
