A Holiday Party That Gives Back

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Rezul -- Michelle Keaton-Barrow, CEO of Keaton Barrow Realty, is thrilled that her company is the title sponsor for The Gray Holiday Party, benefiting arts and education programming at the Harvey B. Gantt Center at the Levine Center for the Arts with special guest Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, NC-12. The star-studded event on Saturday, December 14, is hosted by Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles; Nolimit Larry, host of the Nolimit Larry and the Morning Roadhouse; Yandrick and Alane Paraison, To Have and To Hold Charlotte; and Christine Sperow, WBTV anchor and reporter.

This will be the eighth year Herb and Felicia Gray have hosted this event, which helps ensure that the Gantt Center can continue to present, preserve and celebrate the best of African-American art, history and culture.

Guest can join the Grays and V101.9 for the party at the Harvey Gantt Center from 8 pm. to 1 a.m. The $60 ticket price includes hors d'oeuvres, a specialty drink, music by DJ Shotgun, Fly Ty and The El Lambert Band and the knowledge that you are giving back to the community.

For over 40 years, the Gantt Center has served as a community epicenter for music, dance, visual art, film and arts education. Last year's Gray Holiday Party was attended by over 600 supporters and raised over $40,000 for the center.

With more than 30 years experience in commercial and residential real estate, Keaton-Barrow has developed a reputation as an experienced businesswoman and a trusted expert whose knowledge of current market trends, neighborhood statistics, and insurance information is unmatched. She honed her leadership skills as a college professor, business owner and board member. Her passion for philanthropy is demonstrated by the numerous non-profit and charitable entities that she supports, including serving as a mentor for SCORE, a member of the Charlotte Business and Inclusion Advisory Committee, and service on the board for the United Minority Contractors of North Carolina, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Women's Impact Fund of Charlotte.
