Hewitt receives SCR REALTOR® Distinguished Service Award

GARDEN CITY, S.C. - Rezul -- Garden City Realty, Inc., a full-service real estate firm, is pleased to announce that its Broker-In-Charge of Sales, Lee Hewitt received the SCR REALTOR® Distinguished Service Award (DSA).

In a virtual ceremony held December 15, the South Carolina Association of REALTORS announced its 2020 SCR award winners, giving Rep. Lee Hewitt, R-Georgetown, the SCR REALTOR® Distinguished Service Award.

The DSA Program recognizes those REALTOR® members and Executive Officers who have gone above and beyond in exemplary and outstanding service. The individual or individuals to be recognized are those who have made outstanding and ongoing voluntary commitments to SCR and whose achievements are recognized.

Award winners are typically announced in a ceremony at SC REALTORS® (SCR) Annual Convention in the Fall. However, due to COVID, this year's award ceremony was announced by SCR virtually on December 15 and broadcasted live over its Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Hewitt, a Murrells Inlet REALTOR, presently serves on the  House Ways and Means Committee and the Opioid Abuse Prevention Study Committee. Previously, he served on the Agricultural, Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs Committee, the Environmental Affairs Subcommittee, and Offshore Drilling Ad-Hoc Committee.
