FoodNiche Health Forum to Convene Community Leaders for High-Impact Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange
Rezul News/10743385
Forum unites cross-sector leaders to advance scalable solutions for food access and community health.
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Rezul -- FoodNiche Health Forum will convene changemakers and leaders of community-based organizations, healthcare leaders, social impact funders and government stakeholders for thought-provoking conversations and networking for higher community impact.
The FoodNiche Health Forum will take place on September 24, 2026, at Rutgers University New Brunswick
According to reports published by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 50% of Americans struggle with preventable chronic disease that is associated with poor eating patterns, a complex problem that needs tackling. The Forum is centered around improving community health through enhanced nutrition intervention and improved food access.
The 2026 FoodNiche Health Forum will create a space for leaders across sectors to examine these challenges together and identify actionable pathways forward.

Discussions will explore how organizations can develop sustainable and scalable approaches to food insecurity; identify and successfully pursue funding opportunities; build stronger partnerships with healthcare, government, academia and the private sector; use evidence and data to demonstrate impact; and design environments where healthier choices are more accessible to individuals and families.
The Forum will feature leaders representing healthcare, food security, economic development, and community organizations, including representatives from AmeriHealth Caritas, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Middlesex County, the Office of the Food Security Advocate, FoodNiche Institute, and Care Center of New Jersey.
For nonprofit organizations, food-access programs and community leaders working every day to address hunger and improve health, the Forum offers an opportunity not only to learn but also to connect with potential collaborators, funders and institutional partners.

Food insecurity cannot be solved by one organization or sector alone. Sustainable progress requires bringing together the organizations that understand community needs with the institutions that control resources, research, healthcare infrastructure and policy. The FoodNiche Health Forum aims to facilitate those connections.
About the FoodNiche Health Forum
The FoodNiche Health Forum is a cross-sector convening focused on advancing healthier communities through food innovation, education, research, collaboration and action. The inaugural Forum was held at Harvard Medical School in 2025 and brought together leaders from healthcare, academia, food innovation, investment, nonprofit organizations and public health.
The 2026 Forum builds on that foundation with an increased focus on community implementation, sustainable funding, measurable impact and cross-sector partnerships.
