TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Governor Ron DeSantis has announced three new judicial appointments today, filling vacancies in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court and Hillsborough County Court.
Leslie Schultz-Kin, a resident of Tampa, has been appointed as a Judge on the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court. She brings with her a wealth of experience, having served as a County Court Judge for Hillsborough County since 2021. Prior to that, she held the position of Chief Assistant Attorney General/Bureau Chief for the Florida Office of Attorney General. Schultz-Kin holds a bachelor's degree from Ohio University and a juris doctor from Stetson University. She will be filling the vacancy left by the resignation of Judge Jacobs.
Adam Bantner, hailing from Lithia, has been appointed as a Judge on the Hillsborough County Court. Bantner is currently the President of the Bantner Firm and has held this position since 2016. He previously worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Bantner holds a bachelor's degree from Florida Southern College and a juris doctor from Florida State University. He will be filling the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Martin.

Christopher Saba, also from Tampa, has been appointed as a Judge on the Hillsborough County Court. Saba brings with him years of legal experience, having worked as an Attorney for Wenzel Fenton Cabassa, P.A. since 2021 and previously at Kubicki Draper P.A. He holds a bachelor's degree from Huntingdon College and a juris doctor from Florida Coastal. Saba will be filling the vacancy created by the elevation of Judge Rich.
These appointments come at an important time for Florida's judicial system and are expected to bring valuable expertise to their respective courts. Governor DeSantis expressed his confidence in these appointees and their ability to serve with integrity and fairness.
