Golden Paper Identifies Global Growth in Packaging Papers and Upgrades Its High-End Production Capacity

SHANGHAI - Rezul -- Recent global industry data shows that demand for packaging and specialty packaging papers continues to grow despite a soft overall market. According to the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA), U.S. shipments of packaging and specialty grades rose 9% year-over-year in October 2025, while printing and writing paper shipments fell 14% due to digitalization. This contrast highlights a clear market divergence.

Responding to these trends, Golden Paper Group announced the strategic commissioning of its two core production lines, PM03 and PM05. The PM03 line focuses on high-end food packaging papers with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons, while PM05 specializes in high-strength kraft paper with a 300,000-ton annual capacity. PM03 uses a fully enclosed pulp preparation system and aseptic coating technology to produce grease-resistant foodboard, baking papers, and other high-end food packaging materials that meet international food-contact standards.
