(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is set to host two upcoming sessions in their series of Budget Town Halls on Thursday, Feb. 26. These town halls aim to provide residents with an opportunity to engage in the City's budget process.

The first session will focus on budget priorities and will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a second session from 6-8 p.m. Both sessions will take place in Conference Rooms 1A/1B at City Hall, located at 701 E. Broadway. Participants can expect an overview of the decision-making process and discussions on key funding priorities for the City's budget. The town hall will also include a budget simulation activity.

Residents are encouraged to attend either session as they will receive the same information at both events. These interactive town halls serve as an opportunity for community members to gain a deeper understanding of how the City develops its budget, ask questions, and participate in activities designed to foster involvement and education.

All Columbia residents are welcome to attend these town halls, but the City is asking participants to register in advance. Light refreshments will be provided for attendees.
