Colorado: Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera Appoints Deni E. Eiring to the 16th Judicial District Court

DENVER ~ Denver - In a move to fill a vacancy in the 16th Judicial District Court, Lt. Governor Primavera has appointed Deni E. Eiring as the newest judge. This decision was made under her authority as acting Governor, in accordance with the Colorado Constitution, Article IV, § 13.

The vacancy was created by the retirement of Honorable Mark A. MacDonnell and will be effective from July 1, 2026. Ms. Eiring brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as a Cheyenne County Court Judge in the 15th Judicial District since 2022.

Her current docket includes handling both civil and criminal cases. In addition to her role as a judge, Ms. Eiring also holds positions as a Magistrate in the 16th Judicial District and an Attorney at Eiring Law, LLC.

Prior to these roles, she worked as a Deputy District Attorney in the 15th Judicial District Attorney's Office from 2016 to 2022 and was an Associate at Cure & Bain, P.C. from 2013 to 2016.

Ms. Eiring's impressive educational background includes earning a B.S. from Oklahoma Christian University in 2006 and a J.D. from Charlotte School of Law in 2012.

With her extensive experience and qualifications, Ms. Eiring is well-equipped to serve on the bench of the 16th Judicial District Court and uphold justice for the people of Colorado.
