Colorado: Governor Polis Encourages Organizations to Submit Comments Supporting NCAR Ahead of Friday Deadline

DENVER ~ The future of the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) is currently under review by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), as the Trump Administration seeks to dismantle this renowned institution. In response, organizations and businesses across the country have been given the opportunity to provide input on the proposed changes.

Governor Jared Polis has encouraged these stakeholders to share their thoughts on the importance of keeping NCAR intact. He emphasized that NCAR's research and data have a significant impact on various industries and communities, from improving forecasting of severe weather events to supporting safer aviation and transportation.
