City of Tacoma Offers Virtual Workshop for Organizations New to Local Affordable Housing Development Funding Application Process

Rezul News/10726434
On February 18, from 1 ~ The City of Tacoma is offering a virtual technical assistance workshop on February 18 from 1-3 p.m. to help organizations apply for local affordable housing development funding. This workshop is specifically targeted towards organizations that are new to the application process.

While the workshop will provide a general overview of the funding landscape, it will not include specific details on the availability of funding for 2026. These details will be released in March when the City issues its 2026 Notice of Funding Availability.

City staff will have limited availability to assist with applications after the release of the Notice of Funding Availability. Therefore, this virtual workshop provides a valuable opportunity for open dialogue, hands-on guidance, and addressing specific questions before these restrictions take effect.
