~ Colorado Springs, CO - As winter weather conditions continue to impact the city, the City of Colorado Springs has announced that all administrative offices will be closing at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Dec. 3. This decision was made in the interest of safety for both employees and residents.

While administrative offices will be closed, essential city personnel and emergency responders will continue to work their normal schedules. The Colorado Springs Municipal Court will also be closed for afternoon court proceedings. Those with scheduled court appearances are advised to call 719-385-5928 or visit the court in person to reschedule.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) is operating at full service today, but riders should expect some detours and delays due to the weather conditions. Updates on any service changes can be found on MMT's social media channels.

In addition, several City parks have been closed to vehicle traffic as a precautionary measure. These include popular destinations such as Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne Cañon, and Palmer Park.

The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is working diligently to clear primary and secondary routes as snow continues to fall. Drivers are advised to plan extra time for their commute and use caution when driving near snowplows. It is important to maintain a safe distance from these vehicles as they may have limited visibility.
