Christy Sports Offers Free Ski and Snowboard Edge-and-Wax Services at Park Meadows Oct. 29

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Rezul -- As Colorado's ski season gets underway, Christy Sports is helping local skiers and snowboarders get mountain-ready with free edge-and-wax services*, expert advice and giveaways at its Park Meadows store on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m.

The Ready. Set. Snow! VIP Night is free and open to the public. Guests can bring a pair of skis or their snowboard for complimentary edge-and-wax services, meet with Christy Sports' boot-fitting and equipment specialists, and explore new gear and apparel for the upcoming season. The night also includes a gift with purchase, raffles, and giveaways from the top outdoor brands. VIP Night also takes place Oct. 29 at Christy Sports Kimball Junction in Utah and Sturtevant's in Bellevue, Washington.

Colorado Ski Country USA representatives will also be on site to introduce families to the Ski Passport program, which provides eligible young skiers and snowboarders access to participating Colorado ski areas. Christy Sports is the program's presenting sponsor, and eligible Passport holders receive two complimentary junior daily rentals from Christy Sports.

Following VIP Night, Ready. Set. Snow! continues Friday, Oct. 30, through Sunday, Nov. 8. Front Range stores: Arvada, Boulder, Cherry Creek, Colorado Springs, Denver West, Fort Collins, Park Meadows and Christy Sports Outlet Littleton. Mountain stores: Avon, Dillon, Powder Tools - Steamboat, Powder Tools - Winter Park, Steamboat Central Park, Steamboat Square and Winter Park Cooper Creek. The event also runs at stores in Utah and Washington.
