Chinese Lantern Festival Billboards Place Broward County, Florida, on the National Stage for Most Creative in the Country. Billboards Designed by Outfront Media Win National Award for the Holiday Season.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Dec. 7, 2017 - Rezul -- The Chinese Lantern Festival produced by Hanart Culture has a winning partner in Outfront Media with Billboard designs that just won the national award for most creative for the holiday season. Considering that Outfront Media has over 50 markets and hundreds of thousands of billboards, this is quite a huge accomplishment said Hayden Brown, the Outfront Media Account Executive who oversaw the project that includes 3 flat boards, 3 with fly-away extensions and one digital, all placed along major corridors throughout Broward County, Florida.

Creative Designer Rene Delgado received both a monetary award and recognition by his employer, Outfront Media. The boards were judged by three major criteria: the "WOW Factor," how impressive is it?; Effectiveness, how clear is the message being advertised; and Simplified, how simple is the overall creative in working with the client company, in this case Hanart Culture, producers of The Chinese Lantern Festival with its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The winning boards feature Mack Truck-sized images of the real-life, hand-crafted lion lantern; Dragon float; and chameleon lizard attempting to capture a firefly. The boards prominently feature the Chinese Lantern Festival logo, event dates (November 21, 2017 to January 15th, 2018) and venue of Central Broward Regional Park.

On the judge's panel were Outfront Media executives Max Siegelman, social media strategist; Robert Yanik, Chicago Marketing Manager; and Scott Christensen, Minneapolis General Manager.

The Chinese Lantern Festival is a fully immersive cultural celebration featuring hundreds of hand-crafted multi-hued 'The Wild' animal lantern displays, Kung Fu and Shadowplay live entertainment shows, authentic Chinese food, hand-made gifts by mainland China craftspeople, and more, says George Zhao, event CEO and Producer. "Broward County residents and guests have never seen anything like this before right in their own neighborhood!"
