Bloomington: Voting Open for Hopewell South Lane Names

~ The City of Bloomington is seeking input from its residents for the naming of two new lanes in the Hopewell South development. This phase of the City-led redevelopment is taking place at the former Bloomington Hospital site. After receiving over 130 name suggestions from residents between September 10th and 15th, City staff have narrowed down the options to five finalists. These include W. Fellowship Lane, W. Heartwell Lane, W. Perseverance Lane, W. Possibility Lane, and W. Welcome Lane.

Residents are encouraged to vote for their preferred names through an online voting form until Sunday, September 20th. The results of this public vote will play a significant role in determining the final names for the two new lanes in Hopewell South.

While preparations and infrastructure work are currently underway, the development is moving towards its next stage of progress. The City of Bloomington looks forward to involving its residents in this exciting project and creating a sense of community through the naming process.
