Update: Columbia Police arrest suspect in three robberies on Paris Road and Towne Drive, and two burglaries on Paris Road

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have made an arrest in connection to a series of robberies and burglaries that occurred in the city over the past month. The suspect, a 16-year-old male, was taken into custody on November 20th after a search warrant was served at a residence on Quail Drive.
According to authorities, the suspect was identified as the perpetrator of a robbery that took place at a business on Paris Road on October 30th and another robbery on November 5th in the 1600 block of Towne Drive. Evidence found at the suspect's residence, including clothing and a firearm that was reported stolen, linked him to these crimes.
Further investigation also revealed that the suspect was responsible for two burglaries that occurred on November 14th at businesses located in the 2700 block of Paris Road. Additionally, police discovered what is believed to be crack cocaine inside the residence and arrested 41-year-old Keveon Johnson for possession of controlled substances.
The juvenile suspect is facing multiple charges including three counts of first-degree robbery, three counts of armed criminal action, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of second-degree burglary, one count of felony property damage, two counts of misdemeanor stealing, one count of misdemeanor property damage, one count of obstructing government operations and one count of felony tampering with evidence.

This arrest comes after an ongoing investigation by Columbia Police. They are urging anyone with information about these incidents to come forward and contact them at (573)874-7652 or CrimeStoppers at (573)875-8477. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through http://www.p3tips.com/899. A cash reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for any information leading to an arrest.
The case numbers for these incidents are 2025-011211, 2025-010738, 2025-010564, 2025-011039, and 2025-011036. Previous press releases have been issued for the robberies on Paris Road and Towne Drive.
According to Missouri statutes, the suspect is facing charges of first-degree robbery, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, second-degree burglary, felony property damage, misdemeanor stealing and property damage, obstructing government operations, and tampering with evidence. These charges carry severe penalties under the law.
The Columbia Police Department is continuing to investigate this case and is asking for the public's help in bringing justice to those affected by these crimes.
